This was my very last shoot for 2010! Also my first engagements that I did with snow still coating the ground. We did these over at a new location that I loved. There were many locations to use here and the only downfall was the possibility of almost slipping and falling into frozen pond, but other than that...great!
This couple was so good together and seemed to get comfortable very quickly in front of the camera. I love when I can shoot a couple and it clearly shows with how much they care about each other through the lens. They seemed happy and in love, and isn't that what engagement photos are all about?

Rigby The Puppy!

This blog is of a "just for fun" shoot that I did of our new puppy. Me and Katie got Rigby about a month ago when he was around 7 weeks and I did these pictures a couple weeks after that when he was around 9 weeks. He was a great little doggy model, all he had to work on was not trying to wrestle with me while I took his picture. Most of my models don't usually try to lick my face and chew on the carpet during shoots like this guy did, but it's perfectly ok, I mean just look at that face!

Baliegh's 2nd Shoot

So just like the title says, this was her 2nd shoot and she really stepped up her game! If you look back at her first shoot then you can see just how much she has grown, you can barely tell it's the same girl! This little girl was full of smiles and charm the whole time I was taking her picture. Here is the grown up (sorta) Baliegh!

Becky's Family Shoot

My good friend Becky asked me if I would take some family portraits of her family for her moms birthday and I of course said yes! Becky is not only a pal of mine, but a repeat customer! Her and her husband, Randall, have given me some great shots before with there Engagements, her bridals and their wedding. You may also recognize the pup, Sammy, from his photoshoot as well.

For this shoot we kept it simple and just used downtown Lincolnton for everything and I think it turned out great. Everyone did a great job and I got some great shots from this late afternoon shoot.

Daisy & WC: The Engagements

Meet Daisy & WC. I must admit, it was their idea to do a few shots at the bowling alley, but I really wish that I could say it was my idea. I just might use it for more shoots in the future! They wanted to get some shots at this particular bowling alley because they spend a lot of their free time there knocking down pins and it's kinda "their place". The next place we shot at also has some sentimental value to them because it's where they got engaged! We took some simple shots of them at the bench where it all started and then I took them around a little bit to get some different shots. We even almost got ran over by a train! Luckily no one was harmed in the making of this photo shoot and they will still be tying the knot next June!
