Sammie Chambers

This is Sammie the dog. When I was asking Becky what his name was she made sure to add in his last name...so I'm making sure I do that with you guys as well, haha. This is Becky and Randalls first child as a married couple. If you don't remember Becky and Randall, you can look back at them here, here, annnnd here. Becky cuts my hair and if you like the way me and Randall look...and I know you do, then you should look her up and get her to cut your hair!

This was a pretty easy shoot, not gonna lie. This dog really doesn't do too many crazy things, but honestly I'm very happy with this shoot. I came out with way more than I expected. I often wonder if this breed of dog feels the same way it looks...very sad if they do :(

The Shiver Family

Here is a tip for any photographer, if you want to start out in children or family photography...this is the perfect family to get started with because they will make your job very easy. This kid was a natural with striking poses and just acted like he's done it a million times before. The whole family was great and just new exactly what to do. I ended up taking a record amount of pictures in a portrait shoot and I still feel like I could have kept going!

Josh & Kelly

This is Kelly and Josh, you may recognize Kelly from a couple posts ago in her bridals. They are such a laid back couple and that made for a smooth wedding. They were troopers fighting through the strong cold winds when we were out on the golf course getting some shots in. I hope no one caught a cold when I made them go through that, I'd feel pretty bad, ha.

I'm not typically a black & white photographer, usually I even try to avoid it, but lately I've found myself going to the black & white a lot. I think it's been working though, right? I really liked the way these turned out, b&w or not. I'll let you be the judge! :)

Staci & Bob

Hello blog followers! Long time no see huh? Well I honestly have no good excuse for not posting these up along time ago. I've had them edited and sitting in my flickr account for over a month now but I'm just now getting these up.

This is my old good friend Staci. We were church buddies back in the day and we always worked with the children's church and helped out with camps together and such. I haven't heard from her in ages and I get a message that she's getting married and wants me to do her shots! It's always awesome hearing that old friends of mine are getting married...makes me feel old though.

Kellys Bridals

With most bridal shoots, I will shoot them and have them sitting on my hard drive waiting to be posted for several months or longer but not this one! Not even a full month actually, these are some new and fresh images and are they safe for your consumption (yes, I know I'm lame).

I gotta give credit to Kelly, I was sweating like a fat kid playing soccer while I was in shorts and a T-shirt and she was in that dress with a million and a half layers. She was a trooper and was nothing but a pleasure to work with and I feel like it shows.

Jenny & Jerry: The Boat Wedding

Remember these guys? If you don't then you can go back a little while check them out here for a little preview of what they looked like as non-married people. Not too much different, I know, ha. But anyways, this was my first boat wedding and it was a blast. Not gonna lie though...When it started to go I started to wonder if I was going to make it the whole time without throwing up. I did, thank goodness. Everything went smoothly, no pirates, no perfect storms, no jaws attacks, just a successful wedding with two cool kids going home as an awesome married couple.

Peggys Bridals

These were done a few weeks back when it was a touch warmer than it is these days. I remember going into this shoot I was worried because I wasn't feeling very "in the zone", haha, but as soon as I got to the location and she showed up it all came to me. Her dress was very photogenic as well as herself, so everything came together fairly well if I do say so myself!
