The wedding took place in Blowing Rock at Broyhill Park and afterwards the reception was in a small diner called Troys in Boone. I was looking forward to, but also curious to see how a reception in a 50's diner would go. Turns out it was a lot of fun and everyone had a great time!
Throughout the whole wedding day I kept thinking to myself "these guys are made for each other". They were up for anything and just took what the day gave them. What was most important to them was that they were getting to finally be married to each other, and as a photographer, you know that when the couple is like that...everything will go perfect! It was constant silliness and making each other laugh and just having a good time which made the day feel like it was ending way too soon.
I was extremely thankful that they were troopers and let me take them out for some more shots after everything was over and I feel like we got some great ones before the sun went down! Speaking of sun, me and Ronnie learned to always bring sun screen wherever we go, we aren't built for the sun, haha.
