New Town

As I have mentioned in a previous post, I recently moved to a new house and a new town. Since I have been here I have learned the basics, pretty much just how to get to the stores I like to frequent such as walmart and the sort...as well as work, but never just traveling around for the sake of finding good photo opportunities. Well today was beautiful, I felt like I just wanted to do what I wanted to do. I went to goodwill and made some great shirt finds and what brings me to this...some great frame finds. After buying the frames I realized I didn't have anymore photo paper so of course I stopped by best buy and got some paper, then I realized I didn't really have any pictures I've taken recently that I'd really want to print and frame...luckily I had my camera in my car with me! So for the first time since moving a town down, I traveled looking for anything and everything. My hunger made for a short trip because I kept thinking about how I wanted to get back home to make dinner so after a couple of quick stops I came up with these shots, it's a little different from my usual stuff but I'm pretty happy with the results and I hope you are too!

This one is a 4-H connection from a friend I haven't seen in years. Her sister was getting married and sent her my way and it all came together quite well. This wedding had a certain theme that you could see throughout the wedding day, Clemson orange in a southern town, with a touch of Ohio state red. She is a die hard Clemson alumni and he is from Ohio. There were so many details on this day and I did my best to capture them all, from the Clemson and Ohio state suckers to the many Cheerwine bottles. Here is a taste (no pun intended) of what the day was like!
